Location and Access

Located in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, Lake Segovia is approximately 11 acres with a gravel road for access entry, fishing opportunities, and recreational activities.

Hot Springs Village is a community made up of large lakes that offer a variety of recreational activities for members. These activities include fishing, swimming, paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking, boating, and skiing.

Fishing Opportunities

The most popular fish found in Lake Segovia are catfish, bluegill, and spotted bass. Anglers can enjoy fishing on this lake with access to fishing spots and docks.

Near Lake Segovia

Hot Spring Village is a great area with lots to do in the community. To enjoy the outdoors, there is the Desoto Golf Course which is just four minutes away. There is also the opportunity for you and the family to enjoy the Desoto Trails, where you can walk, run, bike or hike.

Another unique feature about the area is the Hot Spring Village Pickleball Courts, where members can open play or play in leagues and tournaments.

Some local favorite places to grab a bite to eat are Xplore Desoto restaurant, Blue Springs Grill, and the Waypoint At Desoto Mariana.

Enjoy a nice cup of coffee at Melinda’s Coffee Corner & Cafe or Black Swan Tea, both located under ten minutes away from Lake Segovia.

Located further south, approximately 20 minutes, there are more family fun attractions. Visit the Magic Springs Water Park or the Arkansas Alligator and Petting Zoo. There is also the Hot Spring National Park, where you and the family can enjoy the scenic routes and views.

The closest hospital to Lake Segovia is the National Park Medical Center, located about 30 minutes away.

The closest international airport is the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport, located about an hour away from the lake.

Education Options

Hot Springs offer a K-12 public school system close to Lake Segovia. The district also offers Christian ministry schools, magnet schools, and a school of mathematics.

City of Little Rock

The city of Little Rock is the biggest and closest to Lake Segovia. It is located about an hour away.

In the city, you and the family can take museum tours, explore the outdoors at the Pinnacle Mountain State Park, and indulge in the Arkansas cuisine that is traditional country style.
