Woodstock, Georgia, is home to a thriving open-container downtown shopping and dining district and excellent hiking trails and parks.

The Northside Hospital Amphitheater near downtown Woodstock has been home to summer concerts since 1998. The concerts are free of charge.

There are lots of stores and local restaurants that are no more than 15 minutes away from the lake itself!

One of the area's finest golf courses, The Golf Club at Bradshaw Farm, offers a whopping 27 holes of golf. The course also takes pride in its top-quality and top-ranking ice cream that they offer in around ten different flavors.

Visit Atlanta

A little further south of Waters Lake is the city of Atlanta. Atlanta is home to numerous entertainment and leisurely activities, as well as shopping outlets and tourist attractions.

One of these is the Georgia Aquarium, which is open all week long, 365 days a year, and contains over 11 million gallons of water and a seemingly endless number of aquatic species.

Close by is the World of Coke, a museum showcasing the history of the Coca-Cola soda company. The attraction features a 4D movie theater, a fully functioning bottling line, and a tasting room where visitors can taste over 60 different flavors from around the world.

Ponce City Market is a mixed-use development in Atlanta and includes many retailers and restaurants.

Atlanta is a great destination for sports fans. Football, baseball, basketball, and soccer junkies can enjoy professional sporting franchises such as the Falcons, Braves, Hawks, and United. College football fans may also enjoy watching Georgia Tech football at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
